WNC Bridge Foundation exists to connect our communities to a healthier future and to create lasting change through local partnerships. Our efforts are focused on expanding access and equity for vulnerable populations in our communities.
We are a community-based charitable organization that works to provide funds to support and assist in meeting the many health challenges that face the people of WNC. We provide direct support and also empower carefully selected nonprofits to impact individual and community wellness in our communities throughout the WNC region.
We remain committed to listening, learning, and embracing feedback from our community.

Stability and Healing After the Storm
Through Community Initiatives’ WNC Greatest Needs Fund, WNC Bridge helped replace Donna’s roof after Hurricane Helene severely damaged her home, restoring a sense of safety and stability while she focused on cancer treatment and recovery.
Supporting Maternal Health Equity in WNC
A NOW Grant is helping Sistas Caring 4 Sistas expand maternal health equity efforts by strengthening doula training, healthcare collaboration, and support services for rural and underserved families throughout WNC.
THRIVE Carpentry Studio Takes Shapes
An IMPACT Grant is helping THRIVE Appalachia create a new carpentry studio and community learning space, empowering local youth with hands-on skills, leadership opportunities, and pathways to future success.
Supporting the Next Generation of Nurses
The Mission Belles Nursing Education Fund honors the legacy of Mission Hospital’s Nursing School Alumni by supporting nursing students in their final year of study, continuing a tradition of service, education, and commitment to the next generation of nurses.
