Twins Find Focus
In the bustling halls of Hendersonville Elementary School, 7-year-old twins Ava and Olivia are making strides despite facing challenges with attention, sensory regulation, and hyperactivity. Staying focused has been difficult for the sisters, which at times has affected their schoolwork and after-school activities.
Their parents sought solutions, but sensory tools like noise-cancelling headphones aren’t covered by insurance. Recognizing the need, WNC Bridge Foundation stepped in, using our Children’s Services fund to provide the twins with noise-cancelling headphones.
These headphones help minimize distractions by reducing background noise, creating a better learning environment for Ava and Olivia. With this support, the twins can now concentrate better on their schoolwork and continue to thrive in their activities.
