WNC Bridge has been grateful to learn alongside experts in our region regarding housing needs in Western North Carolina. In the coming year, WNC Bridge will continue focusing on The Green & Healthy Homes Initiative. This national program addresses social determinants of health, opportunity, and equity by creating healthy, safe, and energy-efficient homes.

Jazmyne Boyd has joined WNC Bridge as part of the 2023 Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s Public Health Associate Program. As a public health fellow, Jazmyne will establish and implement a home visiting program to help people with severe respiratory problems like COPD and asthma live safely and healthfully in their homes.
