Little Trees Bring Big Smiles

This year, WNC Bridge Foundation purchased/refurbished 255 Little Trees to give to 14 local non-profits, along with gifting them a total of $3,000 in funding to purchase decorating supplies for the trees.

The 3ft artificial trees are being decorated by the volunteers of these non-profits, their partnering organizations (such as Harrah’s Heroes in Jackson County), area school children, as well as the non-profit’s own staff.
Some of the non-profit recipients who are receiving the lovingly decorated trees this year include: The Hermitage, an assisted living and memory care program in Dillsboro, NC, the ABCCM Veterans Restoration Quarters, and MAHEC’s Project Cara program that serves pregnant women with substance use challenges.
