Charles, a 10-year-old from Henderson County, has been navigating the challenges of Septo-optic dysplasia and chromosomal abnormalities. Recently, he outgrew his old wheelchair, which was essential for his daily activities. Thanks to the generous support of the Children’s Services Fund, WNC Bridge Foundation was able to provide Charles with a custom-fitted, self-propelled wheelchair.

With his custom chair, Charles will have enhanced mobility, allowing him to participate more fully in school activities and engage more easily with family and friends.
