Support for Nonprofits and the People They Serve
This Fund will provide flexible resources to organizations with deep roots in communities and who have experience addressing basic needs and filling public health gaps. The goal is to help regional front-line nonprofit organizations by quickly meeting increasing demands for help. Grant funds will be awarded on a rolling basis, as fundraising continues throughout the outbreak and recovery phases of the pandemic.
Ali Casparian, Founder and Executive Director for area non-profit Bounty & Soul had this to say regarding their recently awarded Greatest Needs funded grant: “The work that Bounty & Soul is called to do to meet the growing needs of the community at this unprecedented time could not be accomplished without the generosity and support of WNC Bridge Foundation. Because of their commitment to support COVID -19 response, Bounty & Soul has been able to respond swiftly and effectively by providing fresh, nourishing food to thousands of people a week with compassion, positivity and deep intention. It takes all of us to come together to help one another through this crisis and we are deeply grateful to be part of this collective effort.”
