Volunteer and Help Us Meet the Needs of Our Western North Carolina Neighbors

We invite you to become part of the WNC Bridge Foundation family as a Thrift Store volunteer.

THRIFT STORE VOLUNTEER FORM
We have a variety of volunteer opportunities available:

Receivers
We value the donations we receive. Friendly volunteers help us receive the many items donated each day and issue receipts for donors.

Sorters
Donation sorters keep our backroom efficient. We need volunteers who can spot hidden gems and vintage finds of value.

Pricing / Tagging
Once donations are sorted, we need volunteers to price items. Specific guidelines are given for pricing merchandise, be it clothing or household items.

Cashiers
Volunteers who ring up sales also offer a friendly face to the public, acting as ambassadors for WNC Bridge Foundation.

Retail Assistant
Volunteer retail assistants keep our store in tip-top shape, whether it’s arranging the clothing for display or restocking shelves.

Building / Designing Displays
Our merchandise changes daily. We need creative volunteers to keep our retail floor and window displays looking great, often changing with the seasons and holidays.

Cleaning
There is no task too great or too small. WNC Bridge Foundation Thrift Store works to keep our businesses clean, free from smells and dirty merchandise.
